About The Painted Trail

More than a painting event. This is an experience—where nature, horses, and art meet.

Where Canvas Meets Nature

The Painted Trail was born on California’s rugged coast from a single, simple idea: creativity thrives outdoors. We’re not a typical “paint and sip.” We bring together people, animals, ocean breezes, and open space to create truly unforgettable experiences.

Our home at Ocean View Stables isn’t just a venue—it’s part of the story. Here, you’ll find horses grazing, laughter echoing in the barn, and the Pacific mist settling over your canvas as you paint. Whether you’re seeking a mindful escape or a lively gathering, you’ll find it here.

What Makes The Painted Trail Unique?

  • • Live animals, live inspiration. Paint with real horses and nature—not just a photo.
  • • Place-based, not generic. Every event matches the vibe of the ranch and the season.
  • • Art is for everyone. All ages and experience levels. No judgment, just fun and expression.

This isn’t just a class—it’s a memory you’ll carry with you long after the paint dries.

Our Vision

Our Mission

To help people unplug, unwind, and reconnect with themselves and each other through immersive, playful art experiences—led by passionate instructors and surrounded by natural beauty.
