The experience
An afternoon or evening in the barn, with a brush in your hand.
Here is what happens from the moment you arrive at Ocean View Stables to the moment you carry your canvas home.

The timeline
How a session runs.

The painting
Led by a local artist, one step at a time.
Each session has a sample painting on an easel at the front of the room. The artist takes everyone through it one step at a time, from the first wash of sky to the details that make it yours.
First-timers keep up easily. If you have painted before, feel free to wander off the plan.
- SuppliesCanvas, brushes, paints and an apron at every seat.
- No experience neededNobody is grading anyone.

The horses
Your neighbors for the afternoon.
The barn aisle is lined with stalls, so horses look on while you paint. Before the painting starts, our team offers a short, optional walk-through of the stables, with time for photos.
The horses are part of the setting. Riding and handling are not part of a session, and any time near the horses is guided by our team.
Painted here
