Where to go, what to bring, how drinks and the horses work, and what happens if your plans change.
Getting there
Sessions are held in the barn at Ocean View Stables.

- Arrive a few minutes earlyCheck-in and the optional stable walk-through come first, and the painting begins about half an hour in.
- About two and a half hoursAfternoon sessions start at 2:30 PM and evening sessions at 5:30 PM. Your booking shows the exact time.
- Access needsThe barn is a working stable. If you have access needs, call us before you book and we will talk through the space with you.
What to bring and wear
Everything for painting is ready at your seat. Bring yourself, your drinks and a layer.
- ProvidedCanvas, brushes, paints, an apron and light snacks.
- Your drinksWine, beer or anything else you enjoy, if you are 21 or over.
- A light jacketThe barn can get breezy.
- Clothes you don't mind markingAprons help, but paint finds a way.
Drinks and age
Sessions are bring your own drinks. We provide cups and bottle openers. Nothing is sold on site.
Public sessions are for guests 21 and over. Planning something for a group with younger guests? Ask us about a private event.
The horses
You paint in the barn aisle with horses in the stalls around you. Before the painting begins, our team offers a short walk-through of the stables, with time for photos. It is optional.
Riding and handling are not part of a session. Please let our team lead any time near the horses.

Changes and credits
If your plans change.
We don't give cash refunds, but we do make it easy to move to another date when you let us know in time.
To use or request a credit, call or text (650) 278-8979 or email Terrence@paintedtrail.com with the name on your booking.
- More than 48 hours before your sessionYou get a credit for the full amount you paid. It never expires and can be used for a future booking of equal or lesser value. Credits can't be transferred or exchanged for cash.
- Within 48 hours, or if you miss your sessionWe can't offer a credit, a new date or a refund.
- If we have to cancelWe will move you to another date or give you a full credit, and let you know as early as we can.

No. The artist shows each step and helps as you go.
Yes. Choose how many seats you need when you book and add a name for each guest. Only the person booking needs to give an email. For larger groups, a private event may suit you better.
Sessions are in the covered barn aisle. If weather ever makes a session unsafe, we will move you to another date or give you a full credit.
Your confirmation email has your tickets, the date and time, and the address. If you can't find it, call or email us with the name on the booking.
Please do. There is time for photos during the walk-through and the group photo at the end. If you would rather not appear in our photos, tell us when you arrive.
